Our International Tax practice consists of a diverse team of professionals across the U.S. and members from over 140 Baker Tilly International firms globally. This skilled team tackles critical issues for our international clients, providing guidance on U.S.-based and local country matters, including international tax compliance, planning and structuring, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and global mobility.

Your Contributions Will Include:

  • Advising clients on a comprehensive range of international tax services, including planning, research, compliance, foreign tax credits, and cross-border transactions.
  • Leading multiple international tax engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax planning and consulting projects for our diverse clientele.
  • Enhancing technical competence by staying informed on trends, developments, and technical authorities, applying this knowledge to complex situations.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with Baker Tilly member firms globally.
  • Providing international tax technical guidance to tax professionals across the firm.
  • Assisting in managing client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensuring client profitability targets are achieved.
  • Utilizing your entrepreneurial skills to establish and maintain strong relationships internally and externally with clients.
  • Investing in your professional development through participation in firm-wide learning and development programs.
  • Supporting the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, aiding associates in reaching their professional objectives.
Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess:

  • An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA, MST, or JD/LLM credentials.
  • A minimum of five years of experience or exposure to international tax provisions, cross-border issues, and U.S. compliance for international taxpayers, with professional services firm experience preferred.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates.
  • The ability to lead and supervise others, deliver exceptional client service, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning to remain current on applicable strategies.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is highly preferred.
Additional Information

For California, Colorado, New York, and Washington: The compensation range for this role is $86,220 to $182,770. Actual compensation is influenced by various factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
