Key Responsibilities- Fleet Maintenance Management: Oversee and manage the maintenance requirements of our rail fleet, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Supplier and Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers and vendors to procure necessary services and parts to support fleet operations.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to deliver and maintain railcars to a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including Sales, Customer Service, Documentation, Finance, Risk, and Legal, to ensure the successful achievement of corporate goals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to rail fleet operations, ensuring full compliance and adherence to safety protocols and environmental operations.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience in a rail mechanical or engineering environment.
- Experience: 1 year of experience in a rail mechanical or engineering environment, or 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, deadline-oriented, and ability to take initiative.
