Position Summary:
The George Washington University Law School is seeking applications for several tenure-track or tenured faculty roles, at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. The school is open to hiring in various legal disciplines based on the candidate's overall qualifications.
Areas of particular interest include foundational courses (torts, contracts, criminal law, civil procedure, property, legislation & regulation, and constitutional law); business and finance law, encompassing corporate governance, tax, and bankruptcy; civil rights law; cybersecurity; environmental law; government contracts; health law; international law; intellectual property; labor law; privacy and technology; and trusts and estates.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a J.D. degree or an advanced degree in a relevant field, along with pertinent experience such as teaching, legal practice, or judicial clerkships.
Demonstrated scholarly potential is required, evidenced by publications in academic journals or ongoing scholarly projects.
Salary Information:
The salary range for faculty appointed at the rank of Associate is $190,000 - $200,000, while the range for those appointed at the rank of Professor is $250,000 - $300,000.
