Construction Support Personnel

A reputable construction firm specializing in custom residential projects is seeking dedicated Construction Support Personnel. This family-owned establishment is committed to crafting homes that embody both modern aesthetics and traditional values, ensuring a harmonious blend of style and functionality.

This role is crucial in supporting various construction activities, including framing, wall and roof assembly, sheathing application, and metal panel fitting. Candidates should possess a solid grasp of construction methodologies, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and uphold high standards of craftsmanship.

Compensation: $20 to $25/hour, based on experience
Work Schedule: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and analyze blueprints and construction schematics
  • Assist in the construction and installation of wooden frameworks for walls and roofs, ensuring precision in leveling and alignment
  • Support the assembly and erection of wall and roof structures
  • Measure, cut, and attach sheathing materials to frameworks, reinforcing structural integrity
  • Safely handle and position metal panels with accuracy
  • Assist in the installation of metal panels on various surfaces
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in construction or a related field
  • Knowledge of framing techniques, sheathing processes, and metal panel installation
  • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and plans
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools utilized in construction
  • Physical endurance and capability to work in diverse weather conditions
