We are in search of a proactive and meticulous Air Cargo Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a varied background in the cargo and logistics sector, primarily focusing on facilitating smooth cargo movement within the airline framework, ensuring all requisite checks and documentation are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee prompt collection and delivery of cargo
  • Utilize scanning technology at designated points for tracking
  • Complete all essential documentation for each shipment
  • Prepare international cargo for customs processing
  • Identify shipping methods and routes
  • Assist clients with inquiries regarding cargo bookings and payment options
  • Document cargo specifications such as size, weight, and dimensions
  • Support in locating lost or misplaced shipments
  • Estimate and negotiate shipping costs with clients and suppliers
  • Engage in the Safety Management System (SMS)

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background investigation
  • Eligible to obtain necessary airport credentials
  • Possess reliable communication skills and transportation

Language Proficiency:

  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents
  • Provide information and respond to inquiries efficiently
  • Exhibit strong active listening capabilities
