The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a team of 13 laborers at Social Security Administration (SSA) facilities. This position is vital for ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and in compliance with SSA contract specifications.

Work Environment: This is a fully on-site position requiring work in a warehouse setting from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the Contractor's operations at SSA facilities, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all assignments from the SSA Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Ensure that all personnel are present during scheduled hours and that tasks are completed as instructed.
  • Provide hands-on supervision to a team of 13 laborers, overseeing tasks such as loading and unloading furniture, assembling and disassembling equipment, and delivering packages.
  • Assign tasks based on service requests or verbal instructions from the SSA COR.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and ensure its application in daily operations.
  • Communicate effectively with federal employees, addressing any concerns that may arise during work.
  • Promptly inform the SSA COR of any changes in work requirements or issues that could affect job performance.
  • Act as the primary representative of the Contractor at SSA, ensuring open communication with the SSA COR and relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on work progress and report any work stoppages or issues to the SSA COR.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity, ideally within a federal contracting context.
  • Strong knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements and their implementation in daily operations.
  • Proven ability to manage and direct a team of laborers, ensuring efficient and safe task completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on government contracts, particularly with the Social Security Administration or similar entities.
  • Familiarity with SSA procedures and requirements.
