As a Direct Care Worker (DCW), you will provide clients with various personal care and homemaker/companion services through an established plan of care. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care activities
• Provide companionship and respite services for family members
• Perform homemaking activities such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Assist with medication administration (with RN supervision and delegation)
Qualifications for this role include:
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Successful completion of a state-approved Direct Care Worker or Home Health Aide course
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
