Aqua Fit Instructor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Aqua Fit Instructor to join our team at the Marsh Fitness Center. As an Aqua Fit Instructor, you will have the opportunity to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment while providing safe swimming instruction.

Aquatic Fit instructors are under the direction of the Fitness Coordinator and will have the opportunity to develop highly sought-after professional skills. If you love the water and enjoy teaching, we encourage you to apply for this part-time position.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach the 11 am M/W Water Fit class at the Marsh Fitness Center.
  • Provide safe and effective swimming instruction to participants.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the Fitness Coordinator to ensure a high-quality program.

Requirements:

  • Ability to swim and know all four competitive swim strokes.
  • Current Aqua Fitness Certification from a nationally accredited organization.
  • CRP Certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
