We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Premier Regional Tax and Wealth / Investment Management Advisory firm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing tax returns, extensions, and tax planning calculations for individuals and estates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review complex U.S. and state individual income, gift tax, and estate tax returns
  • Prepare and review complex tax planning projections for individual and corporate estimated tax liability
  • Manage and monitor client deliverables and due dates
  • Conduct complex tax research and prepare memorandum outlining findings and conclusions
  • Respond to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and tax notices
  • Communicate directly with existing clients, colleagues, management, and IRS representatives regarding various tax matters
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in individual tax compliance, planning, and research
  • Experience in gift, estate, and trust return preparation and review
  • Outgoing and friendly personality with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to train, mentor, and lead staff
