Job Overview
The Equipment Assembler is tasked with constructing specialized machinery by interpreting and executing assembly schematics, positioning components accurately, and ensuring that machines operate effectively. The successful candidate will possess a meticulous eye for detail, a strong dedication to quality, and a natural affinity for mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly diagrams, blueprints, schematics, bills of materials, and parts lists.
- Assemble, install, and align components and sub-assemblies in the prescribed sequence.
- Fabricate components as necessary using machine shop tools and equipment, including mills, lathes, saws, and various measuring instruments.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, cranes, and specialized machinery to construct equipment.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues by consulting with engineering personnel.
Work Environment:
The workplace is characterized by a positive and supportive atmosphere, where teamwork and collaboration are highly valued. Employees are encouraged to demonstrate a proactive attitude and versatility in their roles.
Shift and Compensation:
1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
Hourly wage: $24-26
