Position Overview:
The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Cake Frosting Specialist is responsible for crafting high-quality cakes that delight our guests while ensuring exceptional service by meeting production requirements. Adhering to a proprietary recipe, the Specialist applies NbC frosting techniques and food safety protocols to create our signature frosting and expertly decorate all of our delectable cakes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately follows NbC's proprietary frosting recipes and application techniques to meet productivity targets.
  • Utilizes measuring tools, commercial mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes effectively.
  • Prioritizes cake pre-orders based on scheduling and frosts cakes for walk-in customer orders accordingly.
  • Maintains an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes in the bakery display case while ensuring proper frosting and frosted cake inventory levels.
  • Follows correct packaging, labeling, and storage procedures for frosted cakes, adhering to product rotation standards and maintaining frosting and refrigeration logs.
  • Monitors frosting supply inventory and informs management when restocking is necessary.
  • Assesses baked and frosted cakes to ensure they meet NbC quality standards and reports any quality control concerns to management.
  • Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks the workstation, ensuring frosting supplies are ready for the next shift, and washes equipment when necessary.
  • Complies with all health and safety regulations and NbC policies, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene standards.
  • Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
  • While formal education or prior experience is not mandatory, experience in a bakery, restaurant, or food service setting is advantageous.
Work Availability:
Must be flexible to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. This position may be part-time or full-time.
