Job Summary

This fellowship provides one year of advanced training in diagnostic gastrointestinal, liver, pancreaticobiliary, and transplant pathology. The fellow will participate in a wide range of cases, including non-neoplastic, neoplastic, and allograft pathology, received from the state-of-the-art UW Health Hepatobiliary Oncologic and Transplantation Surgical Services and the Digestive Health Center.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in a comprehensive training program in gastrointestinal and liver pathology
  • Develop expertise in diagnostic techniques and interpretation of pathology specimens
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient care and develop treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development of educational programs and materials for residents and medical students
  • Participate in research projects related to gastrointestinal and liver pathology
Requirements
  • Board eligible or board certified in AP or AP/CP
  • Eligible for full, restricted licensure in the State of Wisconsin
  • Terminal degree (MD, MD/PhD, or DO)
Work Environment

This position requires work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
