About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures using MRI equipment and your knowledge of anatomy/patient positioning for optimum imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI examinations with proper contrast media protocols.
  • Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper film identification.
  • Evaluate quality of MRI procedure and determine if additional imaging is required, prior to communicating procedure information to radiologist.
Requirements
  • 6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist.
  • Preferred - One year of experience as an MRI or CT technologist.
Education and Credentials
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Preferred - Certification by the ARRT in MRI.
Work Environment

Part-time, day shift position available.
