Essential Qualifications for the Capital Markets Analyst:

#1. Proficient in advanced Excel, particularly with financial modeling.

#2. Experience in drafting or contributing to an RFP process.

#3. 1-3 years of experience in the Real Estate sector and its fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of precise, high-quality proposals (RFPs), information requests (RFIs), and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) for potential investors and consultants.
  • Work closely with internal experts across various departments to ensure comprehensive and accurate responses to proposals (e.g., Asset Management, Investments, HR, Legal).
  • Maintain consistency in branding, messaging, and tone throughout all proposal documents.
  • Gather and analyze information related to the specific objectives of different investors and consultants to customize responses effectively.
  • Manage the completion of RFP/RFI/DDQ submissions under tight deadlines by prioritizing tasks during the information collection, drafting, and approval phases.
  • Maintain performance models and provide analytical insights regarding fund performance and attribution, assisting in reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage with the consultant community, conducting research on potential consultants, mandates, and strategic investment plans, while participating in conferences and meetings to promote the fund.
  • Organize and maintain team proposal documentation.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced Excel skills with a focus on financial modeling are essential.
  • Prior experience in drafting or participating in RFP processes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Yardi software is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of the Real Estate industry and its fundamental principles.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent editing and proofreading capabilities.
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to articulate Real Estate business and investment products to investors.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across various levels of management.
  • Adaptability to change in a dynamic organizational environment.
  • Genuine interest in investment strategies, market trends, and real estate fundamentals.
