Position Overview:
As a key member of the healthcare team, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, recommending, educating, and delivering specialized respiratory care to patients in need of treatment.

Department:
MFS Respiratory Therapy

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient conditions and recommend appropriate respiratory interventions.
- Administer respiratory therapies and educate patients and families on care procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care.
- Valid New York State Respiratory Therapist License upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required within 6 months.

Work Schedule:
- Status: Per Diem
- Shift: Variable
- Scheduled Work Hours: Variable

Compensation:
- Salary Range: $36.77 - $46.54 per hour, determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

Additional Information:
- Weekend and/or holiday scheduling may be required.
- This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.
