As a Senior Data Center Facilities Engineer at Equinix, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing critical facility infrastructure in our data centers. These facilities support hospitals, laboratories, and public safety centers, making it crucial that they remain operational at all times.

Responsibilities
Perform site inspections and monitor building and data center alarms
Perform preventative maintenance on site infrastructure, or lead vendors
Undertake repairs and corrective maintenance
Possess comprehensive knowledge of critical infrastructure, including UPS, generators, BMS, chillers, and life safety systems
Complete site logs and data gathering for basic permits, such as MOPs and scripts
Respond to all on-site incidents and act accordingly
Complete routine work requests and circuit installations
Assist during critical maintenance activities
Collaborate effectively within the department and provide recommendations to peers for general maintenance activities
Carry out basic infrastructure projects
Work in a 24/7 operation environment, with flexibility to work any assigned shift, off-schedule, fill in for workmates, respond to emergencies, etc.

Qualifications
High school diploma
2-4 years of equivalent work experience
