Optometrist Opportunity

At Walmart, we're seeking an Independent Optometrist to join our team. As an independent lease holder, you'll have the autonomy to establish your days of practice, hours of operation, patient schedule, and fee schedule. You'll also have the opportunity to opt into equipment, instrumentation, administrative, and/or opt-tech support services for a fair market value.

To be eligible for this opportunity, you'll need to meet the minimum qualifications, which include a Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school, a valid state optometry license, and a General Liability Certificate, Professional Liability Insurance Certificate, and W-9.

As an Independent Optometrist, you'll be responsible for providing eye and vision care services to patients. You'll have the flexibility to create your own schedule and work at your own pace. You'll also have access to competitive pay, performance-based bonus awards, and other great benefits, including health, financial, and paid time off benefits.

Additionally, you'll receive PTO and/or PPTO that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes. The amount you receive will depend on your job classification and length of employment.
