Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests to determine patient needs. Diagnose and treat ocular diseases and injuries. Prescribe corrective lenses and provide guidance on visual health. Manage pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries. Educate patients on proper eye care and maintenance. Maintain accurate patient records and follow up with care as necessary. Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry and incorporate them into practice. Engage with the community to promote eye health and wellness. Qualifications: Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school. Valid state optometry license or the ability to obtain one prior to starting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Willingness to relocate to Northern Minnesota.
