Supply Chain Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the coordination of all domestic shipments, ensuring accurate shipping documentation and maintaining comprehensive records.

Primary Duties:

  1. Adhere to safe work practices and promote a culture of safety in all tasks.
  2. Prepare and package outgoing shipments, including necessary palletizing.
  3. Utilize shipping software to manage outgoing shipment logistics.
  4. Coordinate with local carriers for efficient shipment dispatch.
  5. Generate invoices for customers.
  6. Assist with the unloading of incoming delivery vehicles as needed.
  7. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  8. Comply with company policies and safety regulations.
  9. Provide recommendations for process improvements to management.
  10. Identify and report potential risks or hazards as necessary.
  11. Ensure adherence to company policies to protect sensitive information.
  12. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
  13. Perform additional tasks as directed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Forklift certification, with training provided as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Recommended training in DOT CFR 49 and IATA for hazardous materials.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
