Key Responsibilities:
- Safely convey patients to various appointments, procedures, and recreational activities.
- Ensure a clean, secure, and pleasant vehicle atmosphere for all passengers.
- Uphold patient confidentiality while honoring their rights, dignity, and personal belongings.
- Assist patients with boarding and alighting from the vehicle, including support with mobility aids when necessary.
- Keep precise transportation records, including mileage, patient details, and any incidents during transit.
- Conduct regular vehicle maintenance inspections to guarantee optimal operating conditions.
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Ohio Driver's License with an unblemished driving history.
- Experience in a healthcare environment or transportation role is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Preferred certifications in CPR and First Aid.
- Capability to lift and assist with weights up to 50 pounds, as needed for patient support.
