The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to provide exceptional care to our nation's heroes. As a VA physician, you will have the opportunity to lead change and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our Veterans.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the advancement of healthcare for our nation's Veterans. As a Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of services, including surgical procedures, diagnostic testing, and patient education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform surgical procedures, including proctoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy
- Provide diagnostic testing, including upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and esophageal dilation
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal disorders
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Current licensure to practice medicine in any US state or territory
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.; however, subject to change, depending on the needs of the service/medical center. On-call responsibilities as required.

Compensation Information:
$250,000.00 / Annually - $400,000.00 / Annually
