Overview

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to provide exceptional care to our nation's veterans. As a Gastroenterology Specialist, you will lead the way in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal diseases, including proctoscopy, upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, and colonoscopy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform surgical procedures with expertise in all areas of Gastroenterology
  • Provide consultation in an outpatient clinic setting and on inpatient wards
  • Participate in committees and supervise/teach surgical residents

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.; however, subject to change, depending on the needs of the service/medical center. On-call responsibilities as required.
