Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading a team of medical technologists in a clinical laboratory setting. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical technology and laboratory operations, with experience in supervising and mentoring staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of medical technologists in a clinical laboratory setting
  • Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
  • Manage laboratory inventory and supplies
  • Perform quality control and quality assurance activities
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth laboratory operations
Requirements
  • Master's degree in medical technology or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, including supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory operations and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Working Conditions

This position is located in a clinical laboratory setting and requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
