We are seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will provide direct services to individuals in residential treatment, working closely with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess client needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual and group counseling, as well as case management services
- Facilitate group sessions, including mixed-gender and gender-specific groups
- Develop and maintain a caseload, ensuring timely interventions and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with the treatment team to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Certification through a recognized alcohol and drug certification entity
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with alcohol and drug-related issues
- Valid California driver's license and current auto insurance
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite and EHR software
