We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Dining Associate II to join our team at Northside Hospital Inc. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with nursing units and the Food Service Department to ensure seamless patient menu management.
- Read patient menus to patients twice daily, making any necessary edits to meet dietary restrictions.
- Organize and manage diet orders in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring optimal patient care and satisfaction.
- Develop menu tallies of special requests and assemble trays for patients.
- Deliver meal trays to patient rooms and nursing units, prioritizing high-priority patient care areas.
- Prepare salads, desserts, beverages, and other miscellaneous food items as needed.
- Assist supervisors/leads in the daily operation of the patient services program and customer service recovery initiatives.
- Onboard and train new associates to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
- 6 months of customer service or food service experience.
- 6 months to 1 year of healthcare food service experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of common diet modifications.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to problem-solve in a customer service environment.
- Current BLS card (CPR).
- 2 years of food service experience.
6:30am - 6:30pm
