Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Director, Product Security to lead our product security efforts and establish a global security team responsible for protecting our products and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of hands-on security work, a deep understanding of security principles and technologies, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Product Security Strategy

Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive product security strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.

Manage and Mentor Security Team

Manage and mentor a team of security engineers and analysts, providing guidance and direction for their professional growth and development.

Identify and Mitigate Security Risks

Identify, develop, and implement security programs and processes across product development and production environments to mitigate security risks and ensure the integrity of our products.

Oversee Cybersecurity Operations

Oversee critical cybersecurity areas, including incident response, disaster recovery, awareness, monitoring, remediation, information governance, and digital security to ensure the protection of our products and infrastructure.

Communicate Security Posture

Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels about the security posture of our products and ensure that all applications and platforms are developed with security in mind.

Develop and Enforce Security Policies

Develop and oversee the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures based on industry-standard best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Partner with Executive Leadership

Partner closely with executive leadership to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of the business and that security risks are mitigated.

Measure Program Effectiveness

Utilize business-relevant metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the security program and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in product security, application security, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying security controls across all security domains.
  • A deep understanding of security principles, techniques, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards.
  • Practical knowledge of security technologies.
  • Ability to provide strategic product security mentorship based on experience performing threat modeling and design reviews.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, CEH) are a plus.
