We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Lead to join our team at Sev1Tech, a leading provider of IT, engineering, and program management solutions. As a Cybersecurity Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting our customer's cybersecurity operations and ensuring the security of their networks, systems, and applications.

Job Summary

The Cybersecurity Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing cybersecurity policies, conducting risk assessments, managing security incidents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position requires a strong leadership presence, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to protect our customer's assets.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor security systems for anomalies and respond promptly to security incidents to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the security of networks, systems, and applications, and stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance our security posture and stay ahead of emerging threats.
Requirements
  • MUST HAVE a DoD Secret; TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI eligibility preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in cybersecurity.
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This compensation package includes a comprehensive benefits plan, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
