Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and direction to production team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to meet production goals.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and production norms.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster open communication with team members, department heads, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and problem-solving.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to production team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Compile and analyze production data to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate degree (2 years) or equivalent experience in a plant facility.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft programs, with experience in lean manufacturing a plus.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms, with occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds.
  • Environmental Factors: Works in an office and/or plant environment, with exposure to a wide range of temperatures and loud machinery.
