Job Title: Shift Nurse

Job Summary:

The Shift Nurse is a critical member of our treatment team, responsible for providing exceptional care and support to residents in our substance abuse treatment center. As a Shift Nurse, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care and support for our clients.

Responsibilities:

* Assist and support residents through the entire treatment experience, from admission to discharge
* Communicate observations and insights to the treatment team to ensure comprehensive addressing of each client's issues
* Maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for patients
* Conduct environmental rounds on the unit for safety and document patients' participation in therapeutic activities and groups
* Implement crisis management skills as directed by licensed staff

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
* Two years of experience preferred in an acute care adult behavioral health setting
* Active RN License in the State of Texas
* Certifications: Completion of CPR
* Preferred CARN certification (Certified Addiction Registered Nurse)
