Senior Manager of Go-to-Market Specialists - Core Services

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is on the lookout for a dedicated and innovative leader to join our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) within Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS). In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of go-to-market strategies specifically for AWS Core Services across North America.

  • Manage and mentor a team of Go-to-Market Specialists while working closely with Sales and Solutions Architects.
  • Engage with high-level executives and technical decision-makers to enhance revenue streams and establish significant partnerships.
  • Design and execute sales initiatives that effectively utilize AWS Field Sales teams and partner networks.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to devise innovative solutions addressing customer needs.
  • Partner with Marketing to create digital campaigns aimed at increasing visibility and generating demand.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in a complex organizational structure.
  • At least 10 years of sales experience with extensive knowledge of cloud computing and associated technologies.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in cultivating relationships with executive-level clients and closing substantial deals.
  • Experience in negotiating intricate agreements with clients and partners.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies and sales dynamics.
  • A technical background in engineering, computer science, or Management Information Systems (MIS) is advantageous.
