Job Title: Information Systems Security Officer

Job Summary:

The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) is a unique hands-on position providing direct support to the assigned client's classified and controlled unclassified information (CUI) programs. The ISSO will serve as the point of contact for all client technical and Information Assurance (IA) matters for assigned systems/areas and will provide subject matter expertise to client personnel and affiliates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and administer the client's classified accredited automated information systems and the unclassified facility network.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to client personnel and affiliates.
  • Ensure client adherence to the guidance and requirements of the NISPOM (including Chapter 8), the DAAPM, DCID 6/3, ICD 503, and associated NIST publications.
  • Perform weekly auditing and identify, fix, and harden vulnerabilities.
  • Engage in traditional ISSO work, including system administration, networking, and Helpdesk work.
Requirements:
  • US citizenship required.
  • Must have an Active Secret Clearance.
