Workers' Compensation Paralegal/Legal Assistant

At GPAC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in assisting our attorneys in preparing and filing workers' compensation documents, conducting legal research, and communicating with clients and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file workers' compensation documents, including claims, petitions, and appeals.
  • Conduct thorough legal research on workers' compensation laws, regulations, and case precedents.
  • Gather and organize client information, including medical records, employment history, and accident reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, insurance companies, and other attorneys regarding case updates and requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and court appearances for attorneys and clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
  • Assist with the preparation of settlement agreements and other related legal documents.
