Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, motions, subpoenas, and discovery materials.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
  • Manage electronic case files and documents, ensuring all materials are current and well-organized.
  • Facilitate the discovery process, including document collection, review, and production.
  • Create detailed deposition summaries and comprehensive trial binders.
  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and external agencies.
  • Monitor and manage case-related deadlines and calendars.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in commercial litigation support.
  • In-depth understanding of legal concepts, terminology, and processes specific to commercial litigation.
  • Proficiency in legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with electronic discovery tools and case management software.
  • Experience with federal and state court filing systems.

Note: While a paralegal certificate is not required, candidates should demonstrate a strong track record of relevant work experience in commercial litigation.
