Job Title: Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Administrator

University of Washington is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operations of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division, including strategic planning, financial management, and human resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and direct the long-range strategic business plan for the Division
  • Collaborate with the Division Head and Department leadership team on faculty and staff effort recruitment and effort allocations
  • Monitor faculty deployment and the revenue cycle, in conjunction with CUMG practice plan and SCH medical executive leadership
  • Oversee the preparation of reports for Service Chief/Division Head and the Vice Chair of Finance and Administration of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine as appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with funder, state, university, SCH, and departmental policies and requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, business, or higher education administration, or related field
  • Five years relevant experience, including in-depth knowledge of academic HR
  • Fiscal and program management in higher education, research administration, or a related discipline

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Health Care, Public Health, Business or Public Administration, or related field
  • Outstanding Excel and other software tools to create and manage reporting
  • Prior UW experience with internal systems and HR processes
  • Academic HR experience to include recruitment, onboarding, effort allocation, performance management, exit planning, etc.
