About the Role:

The Center for Biological Innovation (CBI) at Boston Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to support in vitro biomedical research studies and lab operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing technical tasks, preparing data for reporting, and optimizing assays. If you have a strong scientific background and excellent time management skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Support in vitro assays, cell-culture based studies, and/or hemocompatibility testing of blood contacting devices at the bench
  • Follow experimental protocols and execute tasks independently and with guidance from senior team members
  • Assist with preparing data for reporting and presentation
  • Optimize and troubleshoot technical assays
  • Assist with receiving supplies, monitoring inventory, and stocking lab supplies
  • Clean and maintain equipment for experimental execution
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records

Requirements:
  • 3 Years with Associate in Arts degree/diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: cell culture, hemocompatibility evaluation, immunostaining, flow cytometry, and/or microscopy
  • Previous experience supporting lab operations
  • Ability to quickly learn new techniques and adapt in a changing environment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting and on an individual basis
  • Results and detail-oriented
