Job Summary

The Avionics Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft avionics and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting of avionics and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement new avionics and electrical systems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in aviation or aircraft maintenance.
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificates, FCC license, and/or repairman certificate required.
Working Conditions
  • Constantly: lifting 10 lbs, standing, walking, wrist flexion and extension, environmental weather conditions.
  • Frequently: lifting ≤40 lbs, push/pull 20', basic depth perception (shapes).
  • Occasionally: lifting and/or carry ≤50 lbs, sitting, basic color vision, operation of motorized or electrical equipment.
