We are seeking a compassionate and skilled End-of-Life Care Support Professional to join our team at Gentiva Health Services. As a Hospice Aide/ Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care to patients and their families during a difficult time.

About the Role

As an End-of-Life Care Support Professional, your primary responsibility will be to provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also help patients maintain their independence by assisting with light housekeeping tasks, preparing meals, and promoting mental alertness through engagement in activities of interest.

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team, including nurses, social workers, and chaplains, to ensure that each patient receives comprehensive care that addresses their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Your flexibility, compassion, and empathy will be essential in supporting patients and their families in a time of crisis.

Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology
  • Current driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Current CPR certification
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k plan, tuition reimbursement, and professional growth and development opportunities.
