Position Overview:
The Clinical Coordinator for Imaging Services is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and functions within the interventional radiology department. This role collaborates closely with the department director and the Clinical Imaging Supervisor to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all operational aspects of the interventional radiology services.
- Coordinate nursing care for individual patients or groups, ensuring effective delegation and oversight.
- Perform independent nursing duties and execute delegated medical tasks in accordance with state regulations.
- Work under the guidance of the Clinical Imaging Supervisor to enhance departmental efficiency.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be graduates of an NLN accredited nursing program. Experience in interventional radiology is essential, with a preference for candidates having supervisory experience ranging from one to three years. A total of 5-7 years of relevant nursing experience is required.
