Clinical Management Consultants is seeking an experienced Surgical Services Nurse Educator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing education programs for our operating room nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor ongoing orientation and education programs for the operating room nursing staff.
  • Serve as the department orientator and preceptor, providing guidance and support to new staff members.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement in our education programs.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to ensure that education plans align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Assess the skills of nursing staff and provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state of New York or ability to obtain.
  • CNOR certification is highly desirable.
  • Progressive knowledge of circulating, scrubbing, and surgical nursing.
