Key ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Dietitian is responsible for delivering medical nutrition therapy to both inpatients and outpatients through:
- Conducting thorough nutritional assessments and screenings.
- Providing evidence-based dietary counseling tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to implement effective nutritional strategies.
- Identifying and documenting potential nutritional concerns related to medications.
- Assisting dietary aides in food selection according to prescribed dietary guidelines.
- Licensure as a Dietitian must be achieved within five years of employment.
- Commission on Dietetic Registration must be obtained within five years of employment.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.
Compensation is set at a non-negotiable rate of $25 per hour for PRN positions.
