Overview:
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Manager to oversee the front desk operations at our esteemed property. This role is pivotal in ensuring our guests receive outstanding service and a memorable experience during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process for all guests.
- Lead and mentor the Guest Experience team, providing training on customer service excellence and operational procedures.
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise, maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the General Manager to create staff schedules and adjust as necessary to meet business demands.
- Conduct administrative tasks including daily reporting, managing financial transactions, and maintaining guest records.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, particularly regarding guest information and key control.
- Foster a welcoming environment by greeting guests and ensuring all areas of the front desk are clean and organized.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency in English is essential.
Experience: Previous experience in hotel operations or customer service is necessary, with supervisory experience preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital. Must be adept at handling multiple tasks and maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
