Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Field Technician to join our team at The Golub Corporation. As an IT Field Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and replacing IT register equipment and related hardware in our grocery stores and administrative support locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware and software issues in store locations.
  • Install and configure new IT equipment, including registers, scales, servers, and network devices.
  • Maintain the integrity of store networks, including network wiring and terminations.
  • Demonstrate inventory management and parts allocation skills.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of experience with PC hardware and software, and the ability to perform basic IT maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation.
  • Familiarity with grocery store equipment, including register POS systems, network and server gear, self-check-out units, printers, and switches.
  • Ability to work hands-on with equipment and handle physical demands of installation.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent travel to store locations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The disclosed compensation range for this position is applicable within the state the position resides. The actual base pay offered will consider internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The compensation range is one component of The Golub Corporation's total compensation and benefits package, which includes 401(k), 401(k) match, paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, and more.
