Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Methodist Physicians Clinic - Indian Hills. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist providers with daily activities such as preparing patients for examination, obtaining vital signs, and phlebotomy.
  • Maintain and update medical records and forms.
  • Complete tracking forms and follow up on missed appointments and procedures.
  • Assist Health Coaches by working patient lists and scheduling appointments as directed.
  • Provide patients and caregivers with preprinted health-related instructions from the provider.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area according to department/provider protocol.
  • Transmit written prescription orders and medication refills.
  • Provide appropriate care specific to the age of the patient to ensure understanding and comfort level of treatment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred.
  • Nurse Aide Registry at time of hire OR current experience working in the capacity of a nursing assistant OR enrolled in a nursing program required.
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire, required within 3 months of hire.
