We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our Oncology Pharmacy Operations team at University Hospitals. As a key member of our health system, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and supervising pharmacy personnel to ensure the safe, effective, and cost-effective acquisition and use of medications.
Key Responsibilities- Directing pharmacy operations, strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Developing and implementing financial controls to optimize resource utilization and budgeting.
- Collaborating with clinical leadership to develop drug use initiatives and ensure appropriate medication use.
- Executing and implementing quality initiatives and Pharmacy care management initiatives across all pharmacy practice settings.
- Providing leadership and direction to ensure compliance with Ohio law and regulations, pharmacy business practices, internal and external accrediting bodies, and institutional policies.
- Developing and implementing productivity management programs for each area of pharmacy practice.
- Ensuring adherence to inventory management, drug procurement, and drug distribution requirements, standards, and regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Required) and Master's Degree (Preferred).
- Prior supervisor experience (Preferred) and 5+ years of experience in the practice area with a minimum of 3 years leadership experience (Required).
- Experience working with health-system pharmacy leadership in a progressive and complex healthcare system (Required).
- Lean or Six-Sigma training/certification with demonstrated application of its principles.
- Completion of an ASHP accredited Hospital Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) residency.
