In partnership with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we ensure high-quality, patient-focused medical care. Our physicians benefit from an innovative healthcare delivery model, equipped with advanced technological resources and comprehensive practice support.
As a salaried physician at MAPMG, you will experience a work environment free from the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-service structures. Our members enjoy seamless access to specialists and medical records, enabling holistic patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Ophthalmologist with MAPMG, you will:
- Manage approximately 21 patients daily in 20-minute consultations
- Allocate around 2.5 days monthly for surgical procedures (subject to patient volume)
- Engage with a diverse patient demographic from the tri-state area
- Provide care for a broad spectrum of ophthalmology cases
- Perform surgical interventions based on your expertise and comfort level
- Collaborate with subspecialists within Kaiser and the academic community
Essential Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Eligible
- Current licensure or willingness to obtain licenses in the relevant jurisdictions
- Work visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates
