About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Salesperson to join our team at Tate Branch Carlsbad. As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for selling new and used automobiles, trucks, and vans to customers, providing exceptional customer service, and meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers on the sales floor, determine their vehicle preferences, and provide personalized recommendations.
- Vehicle Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on new products, features, and accessories, and be able to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
- Sales and Negotiation: Work with customers to compute and quote sales prices, negotiate deals, and prepare all related paperwork and applications.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customers understand the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork, and provide exceptional customer service to build loyalty.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with the Sales Manager to meet sales targets, attend sales meetings and training sessions, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Working Conditions:
The Salesperson will work in a fast-paced sales environment, frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, and occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
