About the Job
This is a full-time union position that requires experience in construction or a related field. As a Laborer, you will assist in preparing construction sites, operating hand and power tools, and performing tasks involving physical labor for heavy civil construction projects. You will also be responsible for directing traffic near construction sites and ensuring a safe working environment.

Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
  • Assisting in the preparation of construction sites.
  • Unloading and loading materials.
  • Operating hand and power tools.
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete, gravel, and other materials.
  • Directing traffic near construction sites.
  • Performing tasks involving physical labor for heavy civil construction projects.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Experience in construction or a related field.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • The ability to work at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • The ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
