Adventist HealthCare seeks a Certified Lead Surgical Technician to join our Operating Room team. As a Certified Lead Surgical Technician, you will be responsible for coordinating daily service line procedures, troubleshooting technical or patient issues, and facilitating needs for future cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily service line procedures - equipment, supplies, staff
  • Troubleshoot any technical or patient issues related to procedures
  • Facilitate needs for future cases - special equipment, vendor support
  • Be a liaison with sterile processing
  • Serve as a resource to staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned (i.e. scrubbing, provide breaks/lunch relief, assist with turnovers, etc.)
  • Support cost containment with supplies and assist with new equipment and supply trials
  • Modify/revise surgeon's preference cards, as needed

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience
  • CST Certification Required or candidate must obtain within 6 months of hire date
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm
