Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Client Relationship Executive, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships and formulating strategies to enhance sales and profitability for medium to large clientele. You will drive revenue growth by devising, implementing, and communicating business strategies aimed at increasing both revenue and gross margin.
This role necessitates the operation of a company vehicle or personal vehicle, with such operation occurring more than 80% of the average work week. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report will be required if selected for this position.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site visits with both new and existing clients.
- Manage sales volume with a designated group of clients while actively seeking to expand the customer base.
- Serve as a White Cap Brand Ambassador, driving topline sales and achieving annual gross margin targets.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and team members to address service-related issues.
- Generate potential sales leads through market research, networking, and various sales events.
- Contact assigned and prospective accounts to secure new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective business plans for account management.
- Collaborate with sales teams and corporate personnel to communicate account strategies and pricing.
- Provide market and competitor insights to relevant channels within the organization.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of product knowledge to effectively serve customers.
- Submit all required sales administration reports and participate in company meetings.
Work Environment
This position typically involves working in a comfortable setting, though there may be regular exposure to conditions that could cause moderate discomfort or risk, such as temperature fluctuations and noise.
Physical exertion may be required intermittently, including walking, standing, and lifting materials or equipment that may exceed 50 pounds.
Qualifications
Typically requires a BS/BA in a relevant field.
Generally, 2-5 years of experience in a related area OR an MS/MA with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Certification may be necessary in specific areas.Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Strategic Selling and Large Account Management Process concepts.
- Previous experience in telesales with proven phone sales capabilities.
- Knowledge of the company’s product offerings.
Must be able to travel to 10-12 customer or prospect job sites daily, which may involve navigating challenging terrains and construction sites.
