About the Role

Cordis is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team in a key role that will drive quality, efficiency, and output in our manufacturing operations. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing daily staffing needs, optimizing team performance, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Provide supervision and performance management of production staff, including daily feedback and annual review process.
  • Resource Allocation: Oversee ongoing day-to-day resource allocation for line production and related activities, including capacity planning and performing time studies.
  • Training and Development: Develop personnel to increase their effectiveness in the organization, including cross-training and skill development.
  • Scheduling and Inventory Management: Schedule production builds and manage kanban inventories efficiently to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals.
  • Problem-Solving and Analysis: Identify potential production issues and develop solutions to prevent recurrences, and initiate, analyze data, and perform root cause investigation or tasks for NCMRs and CAPA.
  • Quality and Compliance: Champion cGMP and QSR concepts and procedures, and ensure compliance with existing processes and new processes.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects as assigned, develop resources to accomplish tasks, and manage timelines to meet project goals.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in a hands-on role at a medical device/pharmaceutical company (or equivalent industry) PLUS 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Education: AA degree or above preferred.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees and management, and excellent computer skills, including advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Lean Manufacturing Background: Strong Lean Manufacturing background preferred.
Compensation

The expected pre-tax pay rate for this position is $80,500 - $108,000 - $123,000. Actual pay may fluctuate outside of the range depending on skills, education, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
